Tenant Relations Clerk

 

The Tenant Relations Clerk contributes to the overall success of the organization by effectively carrying out the administrative functions for the housing/capital program.  This role focuses on providing staff with effective, professional and timely assistance and solutions to their administrative requirements and provides customer services to SXFN housing clients.  As a key front line staff member, the tenant relations clerk must have excellent customer services skills as well as a cordial and friendly approach, given the numerous contacts with a wide variety of organizations this position will have including dealings with associated agencies, levels of government and general public.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation from High School Grade 12 or equivalency

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in the use of computer programs for word processing, databases, spreadsheets, email and the internet, to the intermediate level (capable of using a large number of functions and feel confident using the program)
  • Must have strong administrative, organizational and communication skills
  • Must have excellent note take and record keeping skills
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with clients, customers, suppliers, and co-workers
  • Ability to self-regulate, meet deadlines, have attention to detail
  • Recognizes and respects all cultural diversity and has an understanding of Aboriginal culture

 

Experience:

  • Six months to one year administrative, clerical or coordination experience

 

Type of Employment:

  • 63 hours bi-weekly

 

Conditions of Employment

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Criminal Records Check
  • Must have a valid BC Driver’s License

 

Salary:  As per company salary grid this position is Pay Grade 4       $15.20 – $19.26/hour

 Health Coordinator  RE-POSTED

 63 hours bi-weekly

The Stswecem’c Xgat’tem First Nation is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of the Health Coordinator.

The Health Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, delivery, administration and evaluation of community based health services.  This position will liaise with Three Corners Health Services Society and other service providers to meet identified community health needs and to assist in the development of integrated holistic services.  As an advocate for healthy families and communities, the Health Coordinator possesses excellent communication skills and is a results oriented individual with an ability to establish effective relationships.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have strong administrative, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to write proposals to secure funding to further develop health programs and services
  • Ability to self-regulate, meet deadlines, have attention to detail
  • Knowledge of public health practices, disease prevention, nutrition, and other health related topics
  • Proficiency in the use of computer programs for word processing, databases, spreadsheets, email and the internet, to the intermediate level (capable of using a large number of functions and feel confident using the program)

Experience:

  • Two to three years business, health administration, social services, or related experience

Working Conditions

  • Travel will be required
  • Some non-standard hours of work
  • Receives minimal supervision with occasional direction and few checks of the work performed

Conditions of Employment

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Criminal Records Check
  • Must have a valid BC Driver’s License
  • Must provide a vehicle in good operating condition and appropriate vehicle insurance to meet program

Salary:  As per company salary grid:  this position is Pay Grade 6   $22.81 – $27.80/hour
